Brown Alumni Interview Advice Is It Weird That My College Interview Is Being Held At An Alumni's House?

Is it weird that my college interview is being held at an alumni's house? - brown alumni interview advice

I have my interview at Brown tomorrow, and I assumed that the old e-mail, I say that I can interview suggests meeting at a Starbucks or a local cafe. He told me just go back home (at least 45 minutes).

I'm eighteen years old and I am uncomfortable in this situation. Should I suggest a public place?

  1. It is strange for you, but not a student at Brown. Brown is one of ten universities in the U.S. I will help you some ideas for you with your concerns. It is now too late, but call the Admissions Office in the morning, someone has to stand guard. Or do you want to go to Brown in May in the morning to see if anyone in the administration building. If so, tell him or her the interview setting. But do not talk to the tutor or the campus police because their jobs are in a safe environment for students. are not conducted on this interview.

If you are the person to call, write the letter this evening and ask whether someone you can. Google his name or use the reverse phone site orthe phone book, if you live close enough to Providence. You can call the Providence police to tell them where you will be tomorrow. You also get a home assessment and interview location and character of the neighborhood. You can also use a cell phone automatically to 911 in Providence.

I understand that, you react as quickly, but I wish you a safe and successful future interview.

  2. A alumus Brown wants an interview with "at home"? Something about this really, really sucks.

Never heard of doing interviews admisssions College alum. Perhaps it is a commonly accepted practice of the Ivy League schools, but again I've never heard of it.

The second red flag is - women 18 years old - at home. If they would have been "up and up" sensitive enough to know the Lord, that younger women would be embarrassed to take your age, home with a man Interveiw, and suggested a public meeting place.

First, you should call someone in the office of the Registrar of Brown and see some background checks, to see how legitimateThis is eaten. Do not worry that someone might hurt, you have to be an absolute right that you are safe.

Although the controls, I would like to emphasize the promotion of another adult. Sign-Brown is not worth your life in something that is the sound completely wrong.

  3. Play it safe number. You can take offense if you suggest another place. I just want to be a father to the interview. This is not so far-fetched, because often the parents may have questions about the university.

If this is not acceptable to the interviewer that I had a relative or friend to write to the location of the interview and hang in your car. It is likely that it is not necessary, but it never hurts to be prepared just in case.

  4. Just go and carry pepper spray!

    J / K ...

It is against the rules to give a talk to the old house! Who speaks here of course, not at a level 1 facility. Hush, State College! Return to your cabin!

ANYWAYS ..... The exact rule is: "The meeting agreed to a pleasant place to conditions." His place is 45 minutes, seems not very practical for me! As a female, and 18 have not even a factor to be here. Suffice it to say, it's too far to find a coffee shop on Google Maps midway between his house and his family, and go from there.

Wherever you are, for questions like "What is ready, something that Brown did not know about you juc by reading your application? or "What is that Brown wants?" (and have a better answer than "Well, I am a student and go to the Ivy League, is a law student at birth"), etc.

Oh, and questions, real questions about the school. You are a young adult in a business meeting, not two students at a time, so be prepared to talk about the real things. The interview is to see if you are to receive a Brown, if not able to qualify, the process did not go that far. He has no reason to be nervous, what they do, too, because she needs to get good answers to concerns you may have found the school.

  5. I assume you mean "student" (male graduates). In any case, it is entirely appropriate to a public place (first choice) or a conversation with a parent with you. A good idea is the leadership office of your school. Another reason is a public library.

Congratulations on your good sense and maturity.
