Are venetian blinds out dated? my partner wants vertical blinds i want venetian? - white venetian blinds

We painted the walls in a light purple butterfly final. It is a very pale lilac. We also painted the door and whitewall tires.
We would like the blinds, but my partner is thinking outside of the Venetian and vertical blinds are modern. I think you are a type of finish and the new smelter, which appear in all sorts of colors in my aunt who painted their walls refreshed paper flowers deep yellow (!!!), to save money and aluminum blinds in purple - it seems big and modern! They do not know what color the better. I like purple the color purple, I do not think my partner wants more! would be large, but not so sure. The house is yellow with dark blue edges of the window.
Suggestions guys?
